Katherine Jean Bolduan, also called her professional name Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist. Most well-known is her role as anchorperson for the CNN's At This Hour morning show. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award-winning coverage of presidential elections 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. Her work on general assignments has included reporting regarding The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in 2007. She was a feature reporter and breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource Affiliates as a national reporter. She previously worked with NBC News MSNBC, WTVD-TV and WTVD-TV. She reside in New York City with her spouse and two kids.
